We take pride in our 'people first' culture and are in search of an energetic and committed HR Generalist to join our executive team.
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our culture, along with performing a range of HR duties including benefit administration, compliance management, advising on HR best practices, and driving employee engagement.
*Summary:* Administering benefits and employee programs, assisting in the development and execution of personnel procedures and policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing advisory services on employee relations matters.
Responsibilities include managing the employee benefits program, facilitating onboarding processes, maintaining HR records, analyzing data, and collaborating with the executive team on policy development.
The role also encompasses serving as a primary point of contact for employee relations, conducting investigations, and supporting recruitment efforts.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential, along with a proactive approach to fostering positive workplace relationships and ensuring legal compliance.
*Responsibilities:* * Manage the employee benefits program, hold enrollment meetings with employees, conduct annual open enrollment, and serve as the point of contact for all benefits questions and issues.
* Assist restaurant managers with new-hire onboarding process.
* Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in HRIS and audits for accuracy and compliance.
* Compile and process employee documentation and records, keeping the employee database current.
* Collaborate with hiring managers to support recruitment efforts, including job posting, resume screening, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
* Communicate, interpret, and upkeep the employee handbook.
* Process employee complaints and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.
* Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, mediation, and fostering positive relationships throughout the organization.
* Utilize HRIS and other tools to analyze HR data and generate reports for decision-making purposes.
* Track key metrics related to employee turnover, retention, performance, and engagement, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives.
*Required Skills and Qualifications:* * Experience in benefit administration and proficiency in administrative duties such as communications, data entry, and record-keeping.
* Tact and professionalism when handling confidential information and addressing employee concerns.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of ethics and cultural awareness.
* Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
* Proficiency with technology, and the ability to pick up new software easily * Enthusiasm for working within a team environment.
*Preferred Skills and Qualifications:* * Working experience with Paychex, Employee Navigator, and G Suite.
* Prior hospitality experience.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $56,000.
