Antique Embroidery Swatch Roosters and Flowers - $35 (Asheville)

Small 3" x 5" piece ~ I purchased it when I lived in India in the 1970's from an antique shop in New Delhi.
This is a beautiful small piece I collected/purchased in an antique shop in New Delhi back in the 1970's (but it is much older than that).
I hand sewed some 'end pieces' on the back side (I have a photograph showing the back side also ~ there is no lining).
The image of the woman is how these were worn (the photo is from 1923).
Lovely color combinations and workmanship and a true museum quality piece.
