It was known as the West Point Manufacturing Company, with facilities in North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, and Virginia.
The oldest lineage dates back to 1813, when Nathaniel Stevens began producing woolen broadcloth in a converted grist mill.
The company has been under the direction of three generations of the Stevens family.
