Offering for sale this positively exquisite pair of two (2) fine Chinese famille verte porcelain lidded mantel urns with the following fine features: - Main color is antiqued jade green, with a myriad of other colors, including pink, gold, white, yellow and other shades of green - Beautifully crafted figural swan handles in white and gold - Hand-painted cartouches on either side feature a pair of birds, which I believe to be parakeets - Hand-painted gold textured diamond mesh pattern adorned with white textured dots on pedestal base, neck and lid - Gold artichoke finial top - Weighs approximately 4 pounds 4 ounces - Measures 17" tall x 8" wide from handle to handle with a 19.
5" circumference - In outstanding condition, with no significant or noteworthy imperfections - Sticker that reads "Made in the People's Republic of China" suggesting these were exported from China between 1912-1949 - Blue glazed Chinese characters on bottom, likely representing the maker
