Earth Fare, a leading health and wellness-focused grocery store chain, is seeking a talented and creative Website Designer / Web Developer to join our dynamic marketing team.

As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our digital presence and engaging our customer base through innovative web design and development.
This is a hybrid-remote position.
The majority of work hours can be performed remotly with regular meetings in Asheville.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Design, Development, and Maintenance:
Design, develop, and maintain our WordPress-based website, ensuring a user-friendly, visually appealing, and brand-consistent experience.
Implement responsive design principles to ensure our site is optimized for all devices.
Conduct regular website audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with the latest web standards and SEO best practices.
Email Design:
Create and design email templates that align with our brand and marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content and visuals for regular email blasts.
Test and optimize emails for readability, deliverability, and engagement across various email clients and devices.
Weekly Grocery Flyer:
Design and update the weekly grocery flyer, ensuring it is visually engaging and aligns with current promotions and campaigns.
Work closely with the marketing and merchandising teams to highlight featured products and specials.
Ensure timely delivery of the digital flyer for publication on our website and distribution through email channels.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience in web design and development, preferably with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress-based projects.
Proficient in WordPress
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and SEO optimization techniques.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for health, wellness, and sustainable living is a plus.
