This lovely and impressively made acrylic painting on board panel is by one of our highly esteemed local artists, Kimberly Dawn Clayton of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Kimberly specializes in the broader folk art category, with a focus on whimsical and fantastical (active, colorful and vivacious) depictions of women in tropical settings.
This particular oil on board painting shows a lovely young blonde woman with applied ribbon and faux flowers.
I purchased it several years ago.
Since then, it has incurred a few scratches to the paint in a few areas, so please look closely at the photos.
