We install solar energy systems throughout NC, SC and eastern TN.
*This is a full time position and requires that you live in the area permanently.

The Warehouse Manager has responsibilities for maintenance, shipping and receiving, delivery, inventory management, job setup and staging, and safety.
The pay scale for this job ranges from $20.
10 - $24 hourly and reports to the Project Coordinator in the Operations Department.
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
*Maintenance*
* Scheduling and coordinating vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections and bring vehicles to respective auto shops for repair
* Maintain vehicle service logs, check oil and air, and filters
* Oversee maintenance and replacement for tools and safety gear
* Address tenant requests for minor repairs, accessibility to their space, etc.
*Shipping*
* Organize incoming and outgoing shipments for customers’ solar electrical systemsCommunicate shipment deficits promptly with the Project Coordinator as well as coordinating reordering of products
* RMA returns processing and shipping
* Coordinate local deliveries and procurement as needed
* Maintain eBay account by identifying items from the shop that are no longer necessary for SolFarm’s use, as well as coordinate packing and shipping
*Inventory Management*
* Maintain accurate inventory counts for all stock products such as wire, fittings, and solar BOS (balance of system) such as solar rail and other racking accessories; communicating low inventory levels to procurement; and organize by categories and size
* Help to ensure all job inventory is accounted for and dispersed appropriately
* Assure and oversee the security of materials in the yard
* Provide assistance with job staging through the organization of materials both in storage and while loading trucks
*Safety*
* Administer all yard operations and ensure compliance with safety protocols
* Assist in implementation of weekly safety meetings
* Ensure proper handling and storage of all materials
*Office*
* Assist with occasional maintenance tasks of the facility (e.
g.
lawn, building maintenance)
* Other office-related tasks may also fall into this role, including marketing, admin, and/or other service-related support, based on existing and desired skills of employee
*Qualifications:*
* Positive attitude, team player, ability to follow directions, eager to learn, reliable, on-time;
* Possess a calm, professional demeanor and appreciation of the importance of customer service;
* Prior solar experience is preferred;
* Ability to think on your feet, make adjustments and decisions as required;
* Ability to delegate tasks to team members, plan work flows, and set goals;
* Heavy equipment (skid steer, lull, boom lift, etc.
) operator experience a plus;
* Knowledge of the safe use of basic hand-held and power tools;
* Ability to lift 50+ lbs and comfortable working with tall ladders and on rooftops;
* Ability and willingness to working in extreme environments – e.
g.
snow/rain, hot sun, attics, crawlspaces;
* Must have valid driver’s license and own reliable means of transportation;
* Background check will be required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.
10 - $24.
