I reworked this old (faux)stereo reverb unit to be for guitar.
I stripped out the rats nest wiring for the various inputs/switches and replaced it with shielded wire from the PCB to Front mounted jacks.
I replaced all the electrolytic caps and the input buffer transistor with an MPSA18 (it's biased well).
The tank is the stock short funky one pioneer used.
At low-mid reverb settings it a solid standard spring reverb (and pretty quiet noise wise).
As you crank it up it has a very deep but short reverb sound, more creepy sounding than anything.
At High settings along with your creepy sounds it's will start to feedback lightly at points if you are using a hot enough input but I haven't had it go into sustained oscillations.
It's somewhat noisy at high reverb settings but mostly a "dead air" type of noise.
Fits nicely on top of most even small amps with front facing controls.
Added 3 prong cord and chassis gnd connection.
