These are becoming very hard to find in very good condition anymore.
This is the EF360S (Martin D28 copy) with solid top and factory electronics.
I changed out the original tuners to Martins, BUT I did NOT drill new holes and I kept the original tuners stored in the deluxe Takamine factory hard shell case in case you want to return the guitar to original condition.
The Martin tuners are much better tuners.
I just had the guitar serviced at Musician's Workshop in Asheville.
I had the battery connector and battery clip replaced.
The electronics are solid now.
Also had a minor setup done along with new strings (receipt included of work done).
She's good to go and sounds like a canon! Do your homework.
These guitars were made in Japan.
And NO, there was never a Lawsuit.
They are called "Lawsuit" guitars because the headstock looks like the Martin headstock/Logo.
Martin sent a cease and desist letter and Takamine agreed to change their headstock design to what you see today.
$1000 FIRM.
No offers, No trades.
I've seen junk out there that are asking $850 with no case.
