One of the last Guilds built in The Westerly, RI factory before moving out west.
This is one of their top end models of the era.
Notice the MOP inlays and MOP with Abalone block fret markers.
No decals on the headstock.
That's all pearl inlays! The F47 CE is a 16" bout Jumbo solid wood constructed cutaway guitar.
Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides and factory Fishman pickup.
Professionally serviced and set up with new 80/20 bronze lights.
Very low action for complete use of the fretboard.
It has been professionally played and has signs of wear, but not abuse! Some finish checking and small dings here and there, all expected of a played guitar.
NO belt bucle rash, however.
Similar sound to the Gibson J200.
Pretty firm on the price.
Not sure I want to let it go.
It is a rare guitar.
I also have a Guild D50 that is very similar to this, but a non cutaway with Rosewood back and sides in mint condition that is appraised for $3000.
So this is a deal.
