Old school Mississippi built Peavey 215 bass cabinet.
I bought it a couple of years ago and it had some no name speakers in it and one of them was blown.
Cleaned it up and put 2 Peavey Scorpion 15" bass speakers in it.
8 ohm speakers wired in parallel making it a 4 ohm cabinet.
The serial number plate is pretty worn out, so hard to tell what year it is from.
But based on the round casters and heavy tolex, I would assume it is most likely from the late 70's or early 80's.
I have a '76 Peavey Mace and the tolex looks exactly the same.
This cabinet is a tank, very solid and well built.
Of course, being a workhorse this old, it has several nicks in the tolex and the grille cloth is pretty worn in a couple areas.
Nothing unexpected for it's age.
But it plays and sounds great.
I am a guitar player that dabbles in bass, so it is more than I need for playing at home.
I don't have a bass head, but have run it off my Marshall guitar amp head a few times with no problem.
I live in Canton, NC but willing to meet up if
you're coming from far (within reason of course) Use CL email link for questions or offers, thanks for looking!
