Nice neck built by John Buscarino, 1 3/4 nut width with ebony fingerboard.
At some point in time the headstock has been slightly reshaped, looks like someone was heading toward something kind of like a broadcaster headstock.
Like I said earlier, it comes with a "routed and ragged out old body that may have originally been some kind of tele style body".
I think the body may be Alder.
I never made any insinuations that the body was originally made by Buscarino.
But now that I've had a closer look I can't say for sure what the body was originally or who originally made the body.
It does have the recessed pocket in the back of the body where the neck attaches like Buscarino is known for, I can't really remember the details on the body.
I guess it's possible the neck could have originally at least been fit to the body by Buscarino.
I'm just doing some spring cleaning and trying to get rid of some stuff so I'm throwing the body in on the a sale for 0 dollars because it appears to have been attached to the neck at
one time and I don't have anything else to do with it.
If you know who John Buscarino is, you know this will make someone a good neck.
And although I'm not very knowledgeable about electric guitars, I think it's rather unusual to have a neck for electric guitar with the 1 3/4 inch nut width.
I originally had the neck commissioned with the wide nut because that's what all my accoustics were.
