Here is a very rare item, and here is everything I know about it:
I had forgot about this for many years.
If you saw my basement, you'd know why.
I acquired this sometime in the early-mid 70s.
I had actually seen one in a Fender catalog, and thought it would be great to have one with my Black-Face Twin Reverb amp, which I no longer have.
The catalog is one that I had along with a few others, and I've tried to find it in all my stuff to take a pic, but so far, have been unable to locate it.
This thing is exactly as it was when I acquired it (except for a couple of mods listed below), and the Black Widow speakers that I put in it have long been gone.
There is no writing inside on the wood, like sometimes you see inside amp cabinets.
Also, the script "Twin-Reverb" and "Ext.
-Spkr" look almost hand-done, although at just a few feet back, you'd never know it.
The "Black Widow Equipped" badge I made myself and put on there because of the Black Widow speakers I had put in it.
I also installed the extra handles on the sides, so that once it was on the staging area and the cover was removed, two people could easily lift it into position (it was quite heavy with the Black Widows).
I also added the pop-out casters.
This has the factory Fender Tilt-Back Leg set-up, top handle, and chrome corners.
Considering how rare this is, and what all is there, and that it looks almost new, I feel $275 is a really good price.
