'75 DELUXE REVERB
For your consideration a refurbished 1975 Fender Deluxe Reverb.
I acquired it in less than stellar state a handful of years ago.
Buy me a beer and I'll tell you the (long) story.
What needed to be replaced has been replaced.
Chassis serial shows 1974 series, but some of the pots and transformers date to '75.
It's only as old as the newest OEM component.
If you're looking for a classic amp with tone to spare, this one could well be it.

Here's what I have done:
New solid pine cabinet built by JD Newell
Reproduction Fender blackface control plate panel; new Fender knobs
Complete electrolytic and signal capacitor install (F&T electrolytics and Mallory 150's)
New tube sockets for the rectifier and both power tubes
Replace Normal channel volume pot
New tremolo “roach”
New Accutronics reverb tank with new Fender bag
New reverb input and output jacks
New Mojotone reverb send and return cables
New Fender Vib/Rev footswitch
New Warehouse 12” GC12S 75 watt speaker
New tubes throughout.
A mix of NOS and new production valves chosen specially for the tube's task to be performed.
Of note: new, matched and biased JJ 6V6S and a NOS Raytheon 12AT7 balanced triode phase inverter tube; and a NOS JAN Philips 12AT7 reverb driver tube.
Biased at 72% plate dissipation.
I tried several incremental settings, and these yielded the best combination of volume, tone, and pick dynamics.
Transformer codes and date are available, if you'd like them, Tube Gm readings are also available upon request.
I've gone through this thing from top to bottom, and it's everything it should be! Sweet, sweet tone and feel.
Includes padded Tuki cover pictured.
