I bought this V shaped Strat neck in 2003 for a "partscaster" that I was building.
I loved this neck, and along the way, modified it by first having a luthier stripping it of it's finish, and then having a luthier replace the vintage 6230 fret wire that Fender originally used in it's 50's Strats, for jumbo 6100 fret wire that enables anyone to bend like a champion and shred like a pro.
I have left it the way it was when I removed it from the guitar it lived on for 20 years, so it has a killer "distressed/relic" vibe to it.
That said, if you're not into that, a little bit of fine steel wool will clean it up to like new condition.
The only issue that this neck has is that it's a factory 2nd, as seen printed in the heel.
Besides that, which is most likely due to there being a light discoloration from there being a knot in the wood around the 1st fret, it is just a fantastic neck.
Also, the tuners are original Fender Vintage tuners, which if you've ever tried them, are just amazing and hold their tune incredibly well.
They alone are $60 sold on their own.
$175 cash only.
