Ready to rip with two solder connections.
Technical details.
.
.
Bridge pickup is a Pro Track, middle is an Area 67, neck is an Area 61.
All humbucking/noiseless.
This setup was built to be versatile.
The 67 in the neck is the warmest and hottest of the area pickups and was chosen to match up with the Pro Track.
It does have some sparkle, but it's not as bright as most strat necks on purpose.
Rolling the tone back gives you a pseudo PAF vibe.
The 67 is all strat and adds brightness to the 2 and 4 switch positions.
The Pro track is of course a warm PAF style humbucker.
500k volume and 250k tone pots, with 470k resistors on the neck and middle pickups so they see 250k as they should.
Treble bleed.
The tone pot is purposely wired to the neck pickup only allowing you to set a jazzy or "womanish" tone on the neck and jump right to a normal humbucker tone in the bridge or vise versa.
The tone pot is engaged on any switch position that includes the neck pickup.
The tone pot is a push pull that engages the neck pickup (with tone control) no matter where the 5-way is set, giving
you neck and bridge together for a Tele type thing, or all three pickups on which to me sounds very acoustic electric like through a clean amp.
This is often referred to as the "Gilmour" mod.
My wiring won't win any beauty contests, but it all works properly and doesn't make any noises it isn't supposed to.
The pickguard is an eight hole Warmoth in vintage pearl with parchment covers and knobs.
Pots are CTS.
Switch is CRL.
Orange drop caps.
There is a good bit more $ in this rig than my asking price so I'm going to be firm on that.
Cash only please and not looking for trades right now.
Thanks.
