A beautiful set of British compressors! 2- AML clones of the classic Neve 2254 Diode Bridge Compressor.
The 52F50 is a double wide 500 series compressor based on the vintage Neve 2254, minus the limiter section.
The comp uses a Carnhill input transformer, diodes, interstage transformer, a BA Neve style amplifier and Carnhill output transformer.
The comp has a mighty warm, creamy and thick sound; great for warming up single source, but when using a pair in stereo they also excel.
