Limited edition offering from Fender Japan meant to be an accurate recreation of a 1962 Stratocaster, nearly identical to the '62 AVRI's that I've played.
2-piece Alder body, Nitro finish, oval C profile neck with beautiful grain maple on the back and Rosewood fretboard.
The pickups were designed specially for this model, and sound like a killer early 60's set, measure 6.

There are some light marks and scratches in the finish that are hard to picture, a chip beside the neck pocket, and someone who didn't know how to use a plek machine bit into the fretboard around the edges of the frets on the treble side.
A previous owner had a luthier cut a small notch by the truss rod adjustment to access it easier.
The pickguard and trem cover are aftermarket mint green, and the nut looks to have been replaced with another bone nut, otherwise all original.
Weighs 8lb 2oz on my scale.
