Gemeinhardt 3SHB Intermediate level flute $550 OBO
This flute has the J1SS (solid silver) head joint.
The body is silver plated, still in very nice shape.
It is an open hole flute with in-line G, a low B foot, with the addition of a high C facilitator (gizmo key).
This flute is suitable for a student who has been playing several years and is ready to step up, ditch the old beginner flute, and get something more responsive.
The serial number is 378513 and appears to be manufactured around 1989 when Gemeinhardt was manufacturing their best quality instruments -a rare find in this condition.
Just out of the shop from a recent COA (clean, oil, and adjust) with complete regulation, leveled many pads and cups to seal, set the linkage and timing, and replaced one pad.
Includes original hardshell case and cleaning rod.
You can still buy this very same flute new, although without the custom gizmo key, for $1039.
