I am an educated female in my 50's, looking for a part time (as I have a job) residential work exchange w/ low or no rent.
I prefer a small home or good sized RV, but would consider a room in a home as well, within 20 miles of Ashville but not too far from Hendersonville.
I currently work in rental management of storage units and would be very interested in doing rental properties, as I have experience and used to be a realtor as well, but can do other work.
My other skills include:
1.
Running an office / business, making phone calls, doing pickup and deliveries, event planning, financial bookeeping (have a minor in math), writing/editing and computer work (degree in IT).
2.
Great at organizing (both in house and office), estate or home cleanups -> selling things online, taking to consignment or good will (and can tell you which is the best to do for each item, 20 yrs exp!).
3.
House Manager - Running errands, grocery shopping, mowing lawns, stacking wood (and using a wood splitter), yard clean up, gardening, caring for cats, dogs, ducks, chickens or other pets (animal lover), painting (both houses and antiquing funiture artistically), decorating home etc.
4.
Helping/caring for elderly (was previously a neuromuscular therapist for 10+ years and worked with many patients), Work such as driving them to grocery/doctors etc.
, doing light chores (but not much of a cook), giving meds, keeping schedules, and just being a companion to play card / board games/do puzzles with etc.
Not a good candidate for bed ridden/constant care as I can't do constant lifting of a body anymore and I can't be there full time unless they already have nursing care daily.
I have also cared for a friend who is a quadraplegic so I do have medical experience and knowledge.
I am clean, quiet, peaceful, responsible, mature, very honest and have integrity.
I am also a work-a-holic - unlike most lazy people that I see around here! I do a lot of spiritual studies, as well as other schooling and reading, because I love learning!
I do not do conflict/drama and usually avoid that like the plague.
If I have to share a home or have to work with someone, I prefer it to be a female (unless elderly care) who is mature without emotional issues, OCD or yelling/anger management issues.
I will not tolerate this, so, it’s best not to contact me if you are unsure about it.
I just want peace in my life.

I believe in being positive, no matter what happens in your life, as this is how you get through it.

I am NOT a party person.
I do not drink, smoke, or do drugs (at all).
I don't mind someone occasionally drinking, but I definitely don't want to live with a constant drinker, druggie or smoker.
My friends are out of state, so I rarely entertain guests.
