Quality Technician 2nd Shift

*Qualification: *A Quality Tech must be a proficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite (at least Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and have the ability to comprehend engineering drawings and specifications, as well as be comfortable using a variety of measuring equipment such as calipers, optical comparators and inclinometers.
They also must be willing to be responsible for overseeing a variety of projects and scenarios related to quality and continuous improvement.
Discipline and organization will be key traits to stay on task and motivated.

*Responsibilities: *8 hour days, 5 days a week.
Monday through Friday 3rd shift · manage customer complaints for their business unit This involves coordinating with a variety of other departments to determine root-cause and develop effective corrective actions for each complaint.
· manage customer return parts and tracking associated costs · responsible for learning detail of the production and quality processes to gain a good comprehension of them both · Performing PPAP measurements and preparing all necessary documentation according to all applicable customer and internal specifications · Conducting product audits for products across the business unit and participating in internal audits for each department · Work with every department on continuous improvement projects concerning Quality · Documentation management and creation is required to conform to ISO/TS standards.
· Active work on the production floor will be required to inspect parts, sort parts, and handle a variety of quality related issues.
