com Position Description This position will be responsible for performing various administrative and clerical tasks in support of the Contract Administration Department.
Essential Functions · Assist in tracking and maintaining a contract management system and work with various members of the department to ensure that services are processed in accordance to contract terms.
· Review all open contracts and document specific details.
· Load customer details into the contract management system including expiration dates, costs and other relevant information.
· Update database as new agreements are signed.
· Generate reports as requested.
· Reviews parts inventories and order status as needed.
· Responsible for entering and reporting financial data for accounting pertaining to contracts.
· Maintain complete and accurate files to facilitate internal administration and audits by outside entities · Enter customer orders as requested and in accordance with standard practices and procedures.
· Track customer orders throughout the production phase, ensure deviations from established delivery schedule are reported to appropriate Contract Administrator or Program Manager.
Required Skills Critical Competencies · Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and thoroughly attentive to detail in all actions.
· Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate across all levels and functions of the organization.
· Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
· Must be able to function effectively and independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Required Experience Education & Experience · High School Diploma or equivalent required, AA preferred.
· Minimum 3 years experience in Customer Service or Administrative Support role preferably in a manufacturing environment.
· Previous experience reviewing contract information for relevant expiration dates, maintenance dates, costs, and other important contract details required.
· Must be proficient MS Excel.
· Familiarity with US Government contract administration including all FAR and DFAR regulations preferred.
· Experience with contracts, legal terminology, and negotiation preferred.
· Must be legally authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not available · Must be able to work on U.
S.
