What We Need
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team.
This role is essential in ensuring that all products meet our rigorous quality standards and specifications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a machine shop setting and be proficient in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, vision systems, and optical comparators.
What You’ll Be Doing
Conduct detailed inspections of manufactured parts, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Utilize precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, vision systems, and optical comparators to measure dimensions and verify product conformity.
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and quality control documents to understand the requirements and tolerances.
Perform routine and non-routine tests and analyses using the appropriate technical equipment and techniques.
Identify, document, and report any quality issues, nonconformances, or defects in materials or processes.
Work closely with production teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement strategies.
Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records and reports.
Support the Quality Control department in developing inspection protocols and quality assurance processes.
Participate in internal audits and quality training sessions as required.
What You Need To Win
Proven experience in a quality inspection role within a machine shop setting is required.
Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, vision systems, and optical comparators.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation of engineering drawings.
Familiarity with quality control standards and certification processes relevant to the manufacturing industry.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in quality control, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
