We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a selection of our construction projects within the Balsam Mountain Preserve.
The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the construction process, from initial planning and design through completion, ensuring that all homes meet our high standards of quality, and aesthetic appeal.
This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for creating extraordinary homes that complement their natural surroundings.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Oversee the construction of high-end residential homes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our quality standards.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
* Oversee infrastructure planning and construction that will be needed to access residential projects.
* Manage project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget tracking.
* Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and adherence to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or changes in project scope.
* Implement risk management strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
* Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as environmental guidelines and sustainability practices.
* Foster a culture of teamwork, excellence, and continuous improvement among project teams and subcontractors.
*Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the residential construction industry, with a preference for experience in high-end or luxury home construction.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
* Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex problems in a construction environment, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Deep understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and building codes specific to the North Carolina mountains region.
* Experience in sustainable construction practices and green building certifications is a plus.
* Ability to navigate the complexities of constructing in difficult terrain and environmentally sensitive areas.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.
00 - $125,000.
